Why I Needed Practical Swimsuits
While still trying to find my style as a mom, I knew I wanted a bathing suit that was affordable, comfy, and cute but not too revealing. It needed to handle bending and picking up my son and still make me feel put together. Amazon was my go-to for mom-friendly swimwear and I was surprised by all of the affordable bathing suit options. I knew I needed swimsuits that were realistic for mom life: ones I could move in without adjusting every five seconds. So I packed a few that checked all the boxes with no constant adjusting, no awkward fits, and no digging straps. These are the ones I wore, had great quality, loved, and would buy again.

Loved this bright red one-piece with the cutout detail in the front. This was that girl on the trip. I loved how the bold red popped against my skin, and the front cutout gave it just enough edge without being “too much.” It made me feel cute, stayed in place, and wasn’t sliding around every time I bent over. I felt like “hot mom at the beach” energy. Blue Ruffled One-Shoulder Two-Piece Swimsuit
This suit was easily the one that got the most compliments and was one of my favorites! The one-shoulder ruffle gave it a little extra without doing too much, and the fit? Surprisingly secure. I didn’t have to keep adjusting or worrying about anything slipping, even after repeatedly picking up my son every five minutes when he decided he was done with the waves. 🙄 What I loved most was how it was both cute and flattering. The high-waisted bottoms gave me good coverage and support without feeling like I was sacrificing style. Black Halter Tie Side Two Piece Black Swimsuit
Unfortunately, this one didn’t make it to the beach thanks to a day full of rain but I still gave it a moment. The sleek black design felt timeless and flattering, and the halter top gave great support without digging in. I paired it with a black cover-up I had from a previous outfit. Even though it didn’t make it to the beach, it made it to some rest, relaxation, and reading on our enclosed patio which was just as good.
