Lately, I have been putting a little more intention into how I show up for work. And honestly? It’s been helping me feel girly again in the best way…soft, feminine and a little more like myself. Because when you look good you feel good. 😉 Here are my favorite outfits from the work week:

Yellow Cozy Soft Look
Love this look. We went through an extreme cold front one week and I couldn’t wait to pull out my favorite knit sweaters. This yellow striped balloon sleeved sweater was warm, girly and cute. The sweater was a bit itchy but I wore a long sleeve shirt underneath for warmth and layering purposes. The balloon sleeves are my favorite detail because they give such a pretty, feminine silhouette without trying too hard. I paired with khaki slacks and simple black flats.

Girly, Soft Romantic Look↓
Ok so this is so not your granny’s sweater. The soft shades of pink and the bold floral detail across the front instantly caught my eye and I’ve been in love ever since. My favorite part is the tapered waist which snatches you just enough to keep the look feminine and flattering. I paired it with thrifted subtle patterned trousers and simple black flats.

Cat Lover, Maybe?↑
Dogs > cats always. 😂 Despite not being a cat girl, this vest still deserved its moment. It was such a fun thrift find and the vest made it the unexpected star of the outfit without feeling childish. I paired it with brown slacks, black loafers and a forest green turtleneck to warm everything up and make it feel a little more polished. Tbh this look feels the closest to my personal style: unique, feminine, a little cutesy, but still clean and put together. It has that soft, quirky charm that makes corporate dressing feel fun instead of stiff. Easily one of my favorite outfits of the week.

Preppy Girl Era Activated
I don’t know who I thought I was today, but I couldn’t get enough of these pinstriped trousers and the little tie and brooch moment. The denim jacket saved the outfit from giving full costume and pulled everything together in a cute, structured way. This look made me feel quirky and a little extra in the best way possible. Adding pieces with personality reminds me that I really can still play with fashion at work.
These outfits reminded me how much fun it is to get dressed again. Motherhood, life, and work can so easily drain you but choosing to be intentional about what I wear and how I show up makes everything feel a little more worthwhile. It’s a small thing but I feel so much more like myself than ever. Here’s to finding my pink, one workday at a time. 😉
