If you didn’t know already, I have been LIVING in oversized pants. I’ve honestly lost count of how many I have at this point. 😂 And I don’t see the obsession ending anytime soon. So when I found these gingham wide-leg pants, adding them to my summer wardrobe was pretty much a no-brainer. Safe to say, oversized pants have me in a chokehold.
Now I won’t lie, they are HUGE, and when I first put them on, I felt like they swallowed me whole. 😂 But once I focused on the silhouette and balanced them with a fitted top, the look started to come together. If you’re looking for pants to accentuate your curves…these are not the pants for you. 😂 But if you’re going for comfy, cozy Y2K vibes with a little extra room to work with…go ahead and add them to the cart.
I love this fitted cropped lemon tank and silk scarf. I mixed the gingham with the graphic print and added another print with the scarf. Somehow, all three ended up playing nicely together.
I’ve been having way more fun with my style lately and trying combinations I probably would’ve skipped before. Not everything has to match perfectly or make sense on the hanger. Sometimes you just have to put it on and see where it goes.
In this case, apparently it led to gingham, lemons and an oversized pair of pants. 😂
